Parnell baths

The 1950s Parnell Baths, one of Auckland’s best examples of modern architectural design, were redeveloped in 2003 to enliven the complex and improve the range of facilities provided, particularly for families. A conservation approach to the project reinstated the quality of original detailing, materials and spatial arrangement as well as the 1950s colour scheme.
The restoration project was awarded the Dulux Colour Grand Prix award in 2003.
